Partnership between two community-minded soccer organizations

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Alliance Futbol Club LLC and Summit Soccer Club announced the long-term partnership of two community-minded youth soccer organizations based in the Kansas City metro area. This new endeavor brings together over 90 teams and 1,000+ players from across the city.

Alliance FC President Mark Ferguson is truly looking forward to this partnership, “Summit Soccer Club has always been an excellent and well-run club. We are excited and look forward to working with and learning from each other to create the best soccer experience in Kansas City, not only in the aspect of developing players skills on the field but having fun and helping to make them important members of the community as they grow!”  “With this partnership we will continue with our vision of creating a positive learning environment for our young athletes,” added Summit SC President David McClure.

With goals set to develop young athletes from recreational teams to those competing at the nation’s highest levels, Alliance FC and Summit SC’s Board of Directors have been staples of the Kansas City soccer community for over 75 years combined. The focus will be to provide training in a professional and positive environment.

Bryan Perez, formerly Director of Coaching for Summit Soccer Club, will serve as the new Director of Coaching for Alliance Futbol Club LLC.  Bryan is the current Captain of the Kansas City Comets and has appeared in over 138 matches since 2010. Perez was a member of the United States National Futsal Team and has accumulated over 30 Caps for his country. He graduated from UMKC in 2010 and is the school’s all-time leader in goals (29), points (70) and games played (78). Perez most recently was inducted into the UMKC Athletics Hall of Fame in 2017.

The unified club will continue to build on the legacy of Alliance FC in combination with Summit Soccer Club's and Bryan Perez’s core family values approach to soccer. Bryan Perez states, “Summit SC is very excited to join Alliance in a collaborative partnership to grow our soccer family.”
