KAYLIN WILLIAMS JOINS ALLIANCE FC AS GOALKEEPER DIRECTOR
Kansas City, Mo - Alliance FC is excited to announce the addition of Kaylin Williams as the Alliance FC Goalkeeper Director. Kaylin's career speaks for itself. She is a distinguished player both in the US and overseas. Kaylin is a Kansas City native who on to play soccer collegiately at Eastern Michigan University. After receiving her undergraduate degree, she continued her career playing for the KC Courage of the UWS Central Conference. While with the Courage, her honors included two time Defensive Player of the Year, two time All Conference First Team as well as two time Woman of the Year. Williams was then offered a contract with K.F. Vllanzia of the UEFA Women's Champions League.
After returning to the States, Kaylin transitioned from playing to coaching. She is the assistant coach at Avila University, where she works with the Men's and Women's goalkeepers. Kaylin is also the Goalkeeper Coach for the KC Courage and Kansas ODP. She uses her knowledge of playing and coaching to help guide young goalkeepers on their path from youth sports to college athletics and beyond to the professional level.
"As a Kansas City Native, I have a familiarity with Alliance- and the type of environment they have cultivated is special. There are a lot of exciting things happening (like being awarded membership into Elite 64) and I am thankful for the opportunity to be a part of it- Especially in the Goalkeeping Department!" Williams commented.
