ALLIANCE FUTBOL CLUB ANOUNCE KATIE LAFORGE AS NEW GIRLS PROGRAM DIRECTOR AND COLLEGE COORDINATOR

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – We are excited to announce that Katie LaForge has accepted a position with Alliance Futbol Club as the new Girls Program Director and College Coordinator.  Katie comes into the club with an outstanding knowledge of the game as well as the college process. Katie will be overseeing the Alliance Futbol Club girls teams and creating a program that will focus on the development of our female athletes within the club.  Katie will also establish a college program for those players seeking to continue their soccer careers beyond high school into the college level.

“This is an extremely exciting progression for our club. To be able to bring in a person of Katie’s caliber, says a lot about the attraction of working with the players and staff that we have here. We are continuously striving to improve on and off the field in everything that we do. Katie adds a wealth of experience from her career as a player at every level and now as a collegiate coach. She is already working behind the scenes, as we improve our pathways throughout the club," stated Kye Martey, Alliance Futbol Club Executive Director.

Katie attended and played at Marquette University where she was inducted into the Marquette University Hall of Fame.  Professionally, Katie played in Europe and the US for numerous professional clubs before retiring.  Katie is currently the Avila University's Women's Head Soccer Coach since 2017.

"I am looking forward to this new role and to help players make their college aspirations a reality. I have a passion for soccer and love for the Kansas City soccer community - cannot wait to get started with the Alliance FC family and give back to the game and the city that has given me so much."  Katie LaForge
